Webinar “Data Publica Observatory”: standardization of open data
The Data Publica Observatory is pleased to invite you to a webinar on January 26, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, on the occasion of the release of the second issue of the Observatory’s journal. It focuses on the standardization of open data and is based on a several-month-long investigation. It is intended for all those interested in the question of open data interoperability and who would like to explore avenues for reflection (and action!) regarding the design and implementation of open data standards.
This event, hosted by Samuel Goëta and Elise Ho-Pun-Cheung, will be an opportunity to present this work and engage with standard designers, data producers, and users of standardized data.
After an introduction of the journal by Joël Gombin, vice-president of the Observatory, Pierre-Henri Morand, professor of economics at the University of Avignon, will delve into the challenges of standardizing public procurement data.
This will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the design and implementation of the standard for digital mediation places, featuring Eglantine Dewitte, General Director of Les Assembleurs hub, Quitterie de Marignan, data project manager at La MedNum, and Célestin Leroux, product manager within the Digital Society program.
Finally, Antoine Augusti, senior software engineer at transport.data.gouv.fr, and Geoffrey Aldebert, data engineer at Etalab, will discuss the challenges and future of open data standardization.
